Chapter 1
The plane was going down.
My fiancé, pilote-in-command, gave the only life vest to the woman he truly loved.
I didn't argue or make a fuss—I just quietly agreed.
Why? Because in my past life, when faced with the same impossible choice, my fiancé gave the life vest to me—his pregnant fiancée.
In the end, the plane crash-landed. His lover, left without protection, died instantly from the impact.
Afterward, with a child on the way, I naturally became his wife.
But on our wedding night, everything changed. He locked me in the basement and beat me until I lost the baby.
"If you hadn't forced me to give you the life vest because you were pregnant, Vinnie wouldn't have died!" he growled.
He dragged me to her grave and forced me to kneel on the ground, making me beg for forgiveness. Every time I got pregnant, he'd force me to miscarry, saying it was punishment for my sin.
In the end, I broke. I couldn't take the torture any longer and took my own life.
Then, I woke up—with all the memories of my past life flooding back.
This time, I'm going to give him exactly what he wants.

The plane was shaking violently, and chaos was breaking out. We had less than ten minutes before we crashed.
I clutched my belly, leaning back against my seat, my face pale.
The co-pilot, handing out life vests, looked just as tense as me.
There was only one left.
But there were two of us—me and Veronica, my fiancé Gerard's beloved.
We were both sitting in the last row, trembling in fear.
The cockpit door swung open, and Gerard strode out.
The moment Veronica saw him, her eyes filled with tears.
"Gerard, I'm so scared..."
Veronica was stunning, her doe eyes shimmering with tears that only made her more beautiful.
Gerard didn't even glance at me. He went straight to Veronica, pulling her into his arms.
"Don't worry, I've got you," he whispered, comforting the woman he cherished as if I didn't even exist.
I was seven months pregnant and sitting just a few feet away.
It wasn't until the co-pilot reminded him that he finally looked at me.
His expression instantly darkened with annoyance.
"I told you it was bad luck for a pregnant woman to fly. But you just had to be jealous and follow us. Now look what you've done—you've put everyone on this plane in danger! Happy now?"
Gerard was the star of this airline—everyone trusted him.
So when he said that, the already terrified passengers turned on me, hurling insults at me and my unborn child.
Even a little boy threw a toy plane at me.
Its sharp wing sliced my forehead, and blood immediately poured down my face.
As the whole plane's rage fell on me, I noticed the flicker of satisfaction in Veronica's eyes.
She choked out through her tears, "But Gerard, there's only one life vest left... What do we do?"
Her tears flowed freely, a picture of helplessness.
"Why don't you give the vest to Katrina? She's carrying your child... I—I'd be content just to die by your side," she sobbed.
Gerard's eyes reddened, and he held her tighter, kissing her hair over and over.
"Don't say that, Vinnie. Meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me. I won't let anything happen to you," he whispered fiercely.
Without a second thought, he snatched the last life vest from the co-pilot and put it on Veronica.
The passengers erupted in applause, moved by their love story.
No one, except the co-pilot, said a word for me.
"Captain, what about your fiancée? The crash is just minutes away, and she's pregnant. She won't survive without protection!"
But Gerard turned to me with cold, unfeeling eyes.
"You're doing this on purpose, aren't you? Using your pregnancy to force me to give you the last vest, trying to get Vinnie killed! Don't you know she's the most talented dancer in the world? She had such a bright future!"
He continued angrily, "You couldn't make it as a dancer, so now you're trying to ruin her, you evil woman! I won't let you get away with it!"
His voice, filled with rage, cut through the growing roar of the plane's descent.
But I stayed calm as he shot those harsh words at me and didn't say a word.
After everything I went through in my last life, I had seen Gerard for what he really was—the man I had loved for over a decade had never truly loved me.
Since that was the case, I wasn't going to waste my breath on him anymore.
This time, I'd give him exactly what he wanted.
As the final moments approached, the co-pilot tried to take off his vest and offer it to me, but I stopped him.
I looked up at Gerard, whose face was frozen in shock. As the plane exploded, I mouthed the words.
"I don't want you anymore. And I don't want your child."
