Chapter 3

The live stream chat erupted instantly, with more and more people joining the heated discussion.
Some nosy viewers zoomed in at their phones on my thighs. [Look how close her thighs are. Seems like she's definitely a virgin.]
But before that comment could settle, Dorothy's fans launched a relentless attack.
[What do you even mean by that? Are you trying to say Ms. Bell's diagnosis is wrong?]
[Exactly! Don't run your mouth if you don't know anything about medication. Ms. Bell is a Gynae Expert. There's no way she was wrong!]
[Ain't it just obvious that this girl cheated on her boyfriend? And those comments defending her were probably sent by paid bots!]
[Totes agreed!]

Comments like these flooded the screen, dozens scrolling by each second.
Seeing the tide of support in her favor, Dorothy smiled confidently, certain of her victory.
"Eugenie, everyone makes mistakes. You just have to admit it and move on. Why do you have to be so stubborn?
"I told you to take care of the baby, it was out of good will, for yours and the baby's sake. If you have a problem with me, just spit it. But questioning my medical expertise instead? It's out of line."
Her words sounded righteous and benevolent. Any viewers who had doubts quickly shifted to her side after hearing this.
The atmosphere in the live stream was getting more intense by the second, with people making memes out of my face. One particularly popular caption read: [I'm so stubborn, I'm pregnant but won't admit it!]
Meanwhile, my phone was blowing up with texts from friends and family who had seen the stream, all asking me if I was really pregnant.
As the tension reached its peak, I gave an amused smile.
"So, Dorothy," I said, calm and collected, "You're 100% sure of your diagnosis? You're absolutely certain that I'm pregnant without any doubt, is that correct?"
Dorothy noticed how calm I was without the panic she expected. Her eyes flickered with surprise.
She quickly regained her composure, nodding while maintaining her superior tone.
"Yes, you're definitely pregnant, and it's been several months.
"The reason you don't look like it is because you've been controlling your weight intentionally, trying to keep the baby from growing too fast."
Her tone shifted to one of condescending advice as she continued, "But Eugenie, as both your doctor and your close friend, I need to tell you this...
"The baby is innocent. It did nothing wrong. You can't just abort it for your own mistakes. You should start taking care of yourself and the child before it's too late."
At that moment, Kenneth approached me, his gaze cold and judgmental.
"Dorothy's right. The baby is innocent. From now on, I won't be blaming you for cheating on me any more."
He said, voice filled with fake compassion, "I don't care whose child you're carrying. It's none of my concern, because we're done, Eugenie."
Kenneth's declaration struck a chord with the viewers, tugging at their heartstrings. To them, Kenneth appeared as the heartbroken but noble man, wronged yet still forgiving.
I could already see the comments flooding in, with women swooning over his kind heart and claiming they'd have his baby any day.
I thought, "I had what I needed. Time to wrap this up."
I nodded slowly. "But, Dorothy, you've made this bold diagnosis without even performing any alternative exmanitions on me, are you sure you'll stand by your claim?
"If I'm not pregnant, not only would your diagnosis be wrong, but you'd also be guilty of defamation. I'd have every right to sue you."
Kenneth's face instantly twisted in anger after I spoke, and he quickly stepped in front of Dorothy, shielding her while glaring at me with accusations.
"You're still denying it at a time like this? How could Dorothy's diagnosis be wrong? You're just trying to ruin her reputation!
"You can just head off to a random hospital and get an abortion, come back and claim that her diagnosis is wrong! Is that what you've planned?
"I never realized how disgusting and manipulative you could be, Eugenie. You're sabotaging a good doctor to save your own skin!"
Seeing how blindly he defended Dorothy, I clenched my fists and fought back the urge to slap both of these hypocrites.
Then, I calmly pulled out a hospital report from a plastic bag, holding it up to the camera.
"I'm not getting an abortion, Kenneth. Sorry to disappoint you, but I was never pregnant, and will never get pregnant.
"Because I have never ever had the ability to conceive from the head start."
